Churchill, Lloyd George and many other famous dignatories have stood and spoken from the magnificent marble staircase within these walls.
Now being given a new lease of life, it was essential that the grade II listed exterior was fully protected!
To ensure that security met the high specification set by the client, we ran 1t concrete blocks around the perimeter with the hoarding installed at three metres high with the addition of anti-climb paint and rollers at specific vulnerable access points.
To the rear of the building, three large pairs of sliding gates were installed giving three 15m openings, allowing the contractor to bring lorries in and out at different points.
These gates are still operational some three years on!
